petrol replaced with alcohol!!!

One of the man's oldest pastimes has been making alcoholic drinks from fermented plants. But today,as oil is running out and its price is high, alcohol from plants is being put to another use-providing an alternate fuel for vehicles.World's largest producer of fuel alcohol from plants is Brazil.
When crisis occurred in 1973,Brazil launched its alcohol program in two years,in response to the increasing costs of importing fuel. They use a raw material with a low market value and which they grow in abundance(sugar cane).

Initially the process is same whether the end product is to be an expensive brandy,or fuel alcohol which can drive a car.

Procedure: Raw sugar is mixed with water and yeast and fermented in large tanks, until it turns into an alcoholic liquid, rather like wine or beer.
100%(200 proof) alcohol is needed for fuel,so to concentrate the mixture it is distilled. This is done by heating the liquid to vaporise the alcohol, then condensing the vapour to extract the alcohol and leave the water behind. This last stage,to produce anhydrous alcohol, needs a lot of energy, and has led criticisms that producing fuel in this way can actually consume more energy than it provides.
Despite this alcohol production in Brazil has boomed.More than 80% of cars sold in Brazil now run on pure alcohol,or a mix of alcohol and petrol, and the bill for imported oil is down by about $2 billion a year.Annual production is over 11 billion litres and will need increase by another 2 billion litres to keep up with demand.

loneliness is a disease

Everyone has felt a sense of isolation at some time in his or her life.A death in the family or of someone close, divorce, job loss, retirement, even leaving home for college can trigger intense feelings of loneliness. But alienation is deeper and more lasting than the loneliness that often follows misfortune or a major change in life-style.It is a sense of apartness or social isolation,a loss of values,a questioning of ones identify,a feeling of powerlessness.
For some people loneliness may result from the circumstances of their lives.
Shy or introverted people are also prone yo loneliness because they are not able to make friends easily.
Experts believe that early childhood experiences are the source.
Poverty,racism,cultural isolation -all breed alienation.
Cure:Try to talk more with them.

History of religion

We are immersed in our own cultures as fish in sea.Culture is a blanket term for society and its traditions, religion, government and customs such as ceremonies, dress, songs, dances and games. The beliefs were instilled in their members from childhood to preserve them.
Before a language introduced to communicate there are priests, storytellers and bards to spread their religion and their habits.

Trojan War

The Trojan War was once thought to be purely imaginary. Now that the site of Troy has been discovered,we know that a battle really took place there, though it probably had less historic importance than Homer's epic suggests. The poem celebrates virtues admired in classical Greece, especially loyalty and courage in battle.

Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe was adored by millions, yet she often felt isolated.Ultimately she died a lonely death from an overdose of sleeping pills.

Senior siren Shriya Saran and struggling heroine Richa Gangopadhyay visited Tirumala the other day to seek divine intervention into their careers. Shriya is said to be expecting the revival of her lost glory in Southern tinsel towns as her Telugu movie Pavitra, Kannada flick ‘Chandra’ are gearing for release. Jackie Chan using Militory number plates to escape tolls

Jackie Chan using Militory number plates to escape tolls

Photographs showing actor Jackie Chan using a car with military plates - which carry exemptions from tolls and other fees - have spurred controversy in China, the South China Morning Post said Friday.

In the snapshots posted on Weibo, China's counterpart to Twitter, the Hollywood star and two women are seen getting into the car.

There is nothing to indicate exactly when or where the photos were taken, but their posting on Weibo unleashed a torrent of angry comments about the abuse of military license plates in China.

Weibo users cited instances of officials' using vehicles with military plates while on personal business even as China's incoming president, Xi Jinping, has urged public servants to avoid extravagance.

In Chan's case, he was photographed in 2010 using a military-registered vehicle.

"Has our military hired Jackie Chan to teach the soldiers martial arts?," Yu Jianrong, a researcher at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said on Weibo.

China's defense ministry announced Thursday that the army will adopt a new style of license plate in a bid to stop the spreading use of false military plates.

Sheryln Chopra Inspiration to other actresses in Industry

Sheryln Chopra Inspiration to other actresses in Industry

Of late, many girls' especially unsuccessful women in modelling industry are seen shedding all pieces of cloths for their silver screen. One such beauty is now spoiling eight more girls in her next flick.

Sheryln Chopra, touted to be a sex-goddess, is busy finding other ways to lure youths ever since her Playboy show became an utter flop with the magazine not release her photo shoot. Using the film 'K@masutr@ 3D' to the core, Sheryln has already shocked Indians with her frontal nudity. Though she is sacked from the flick for leaking teaser without permission, with differences resolved between director and the sex-bomb, she is back on board. This time, she will resume shoot for a scene where eight other models will be seen dancing around her.

As Sheryln appears without clothes in that scene, she is heard insisting other models too to go for a dare-bare look. Expecting fame in the likes of this hot-bomb, those models gave green signal for that. This is what we say spoiling.

Mahesh Babu fans buying theatre for records

Mahesh Babu fans buying theatre for records

A big rumour erupted in media circles this morning saying that Superstar Mahesh Babu's fans are spending huge money to buy records for 'Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Let us get into details.

As we reported earlier in these columns, SVSC is running in 25 theatres for its 50 days, but it will be tough to make upto 100 days. Fans of Hero Mahesh Babu, who expected this happening, are said to be paying money to theatres for the deficit amount and making the movie run for 100 days. Some reports claimed that a cash-rich fan of Mahesh Babu paid 23 lakhs to Sudarshan 35 mm theatre located at RTC X roads to run the movie for 100 days without any break.

A theatre should prepare to lose more than 50 thousand per day, if they want screen a film even without audience. So, if that amount is paid, then they can run film even for years. While authenticity of the information could not be verified, some say that there will be no smoke without fire.
